replaceDigitalContent
PUT/contents/media/:contentId
Replaces digital content while retaining metadata (if not provided in the request body). If metadata is provided, it will also be replaced. This involves deleting all associated renditions and waiting for the new original rendering to be uploaded using the link provided in the response.
The same checks performed on creation apply here: the MIME type of the new file has to belong to the
MIMETypes of its DigitalContentType and its size cannot exceed the maxSize of that type. The
only automatic progressive is contentVersion, which is read-only and self-increments: the version
(versionCode) and the date proposed by the client travel as plain metadata, and no version
history is kept.
To access the service you need at least one of the following permissions. They are different based on the entity the digital contents are linked to:
