Identifier

In general, an identifier is an object that allows to uniquely identify another one. Supported identifiers are:

  • UHF. They are UHF (Ultra-High Frequency) RFID electronic tags that transmit data wirelessly using radio waves in the UHF frequency band.
  • NFC. An NFC (Near Field Communication) tag is a small, passive device that stores data and communicates wirelessly with NFC-enabled devices (like smartphones) when brought within close proximity.
  • Barcode. A barcode is a visual representation of data in the form of parallel lines (linear barcode) or patterns (2D barcode, like QR codes) that can be read by optical scanners.
